Very rarely Dr SPB comes for the promotion. It is only admiration is genuine he is seen supporting the causes. Here is one such support from Dr SPB for the grand opening ceremony of ‘Sri Sthamba Lakshmi Narasimha’ on Narasimha Jayanthi day, May 20th at Billur in Bagepalli taluk.

SPB close friend Rammurthy residing in Sydney has materializing his dream of giving facelift to this temple. It has been forty years dream of Ramamurthy. He had almighty Sri Lakshmi Narasimha coming in dream.

Decades of hard earned money without any luxury in life Rammurthy spent Rs.8.5 crores on renovation of this temple. SPB is close friend of Rammurthy that prompted him to reach for a support.

SPB addressed the media at Abhiman Studio pandal on Tuesday afternoon. According to him the procedure was basically done by Late KSL Swamee (renowned director of Kannada cinema) according to Agama Shastra after consulting Sringeri Swamiji. SPB also accompanied Swamee in this regard. The religious activities began a few years ago. Sri Lakshmi Narasimha is on a small hill sitting on a pillar. The astonishing thing is that the idol has grown in the last so many years. There is ‘Kadiri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Temple’ near to this Billipura temple.

SPB is coming with his family on May 20th to this place at Billur. It is a complete effort of Ramamurthy. He has not sought any financial support SPB clarified for a question.

On the Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Jayanthi on May 20th, around 5000 people are expected to turn up at this place. Morning to night there is religious activity. 1000 people mass marriage is held and that is again Ramamurthy social work.

On 20th May Vedabrahma Chaangati Koteshwara Rao Pravachana is from 4 to 6.30 pm. Thanikella Bharani is taking part in the event with Smt Radha and Sri Kodooru Ramamurthy make all arrangements on this occasion.
